Meet the Farmers

 

Eddie Mercer

After working in the phosphate industry for several years, Eddie started farming strawberries in 1979. With 8 acres, he learned how to work the land to provide a living for his family. Over 30 years later, Eddie Mercer of CK Farms, has grown strawberries, blueberries, squash and several other fruits and vegetables. His operation has expanded several times over. Eddie now specializes in strawberries and blueberries.
